Season 4

Everybody Loves Raymond’s season 4 was premiered on 9-20-1999 with the episode entitled ‘Boob Job’. Series comes back with no changes as Ray and his family is still at the very same place and life is going as very usual. Season opener brings Debra very upset because of Ray’s reaction on her friends’ new and improved figure. And she decides to find out how much satisfied Ray is from her current physique. Another plot developments include- surprise visit by Debra’s hipster sis Jennifer; another eventful Thanksgiving dinner as Debra tries a new approach to fending off Marie’s not-so-veiled insults; Michael deals with academic troubles; Robert starts thinking that he may be a gay etc. Season ends on 5-22-2000 with the season finale entitled ‘Robert’s Divorce’. On this season ender, the whole family tells the truth of Robert’s unsuccessful marriage with Joanne to Amy. Later on when Joanne offers the ex-spouses get together, Robert may be interested. Co-star Patricia Heaton receives an Emmy award this season for her awesome performance as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
